Malabotta Forest Nature Reserve is located on the border between the Alcantara river and the Nebrodi park. It's one of the last natural woods existing in Italy inhabited by huge centuries-old oaks called the "Wises of the Woods".

The path it's very suggestive and full of life. Malabotta nature reserve is also famous for megaliths, giant monoliths by uncertain origin made of sandstone with bizarre shapes located a short distance from the woods. Another fascinating aspect of this itinerary is the presence of different panoramic points, from these it's possible looking the imposing Etna and the beautiful Tyrrhenian coast with the Aeolian Islands.

The walking time is around 4/5 hours with many stops.
