This horse back riding excursion takes place in the Nature Reserve of Monte Finestrelle, a horse trail of 1 hour and 30 minutes suitable for both, beginners at their first experience, and for experts who want to enjoy an excursion sorrounded by the beauty and quiet of nature. On saddle of your horse, you will face-off a mountain path that crosses the Finestrelle woods, a karst area of great geological interest. The natural landscape belongs completely to chalky soils, whose outcrops are dominated by Mediterranean scrub, characterized by the flowering of Euphorbia, thyme and wild orchids. The fauna includes hedgehogs, rabbits, porcupines, weasels and foxes. Among the birds it is possible to sight buzzards, kestrels, nightingales and jays, all species that can be observed during horse rides.
